Queensland Coast Guard Intercepts Boatloads Of Victorian Refugees Off Tweed Heads

“the lockdowns in Victoria are driving people to desperate measures”

Queensland border protection and coast guard are said to have intercepted at least 6 boats overloaded with Victorian refugees as hundreds risk everything in order to escape Victoria’s totalitarian regime with many prepared to do what it takes for freedom. The boats carrying men women and children in arrived off the Queensland coast in the early hours of the morning and it is said that they been travelling in the inhumane conditions for several days after setting off from Port Phillip Bay on the weekend. The boats have sailed through shark-infested waters in often cramped and unseaworthy vessels.

Experts say that the lockdowns in Victoria are driving people to desperate measures to escape and are willing to risk their lives and are said to have handed over their life savings to escape the terror with speculation traffickers are charging $10,000 (AUD) per person. The Queensland Premier has said that they will be granted refugee status to the asylum seekers however unless they are bringing in large amounts of money to the state, they will be required to quarantine for two weeks upon being granted asylum.
