Cricket Australia- Day 3 of ODI to go ahead despite virus concerns- citing claims “England can’t catch anything anyway”

The ICB and Cricket Australia have declared overnight that the one day international scheduled to be held in the summer of 2021 will go ahead despite COVID concerns and speculation. It was reported late last week that the test may not go ahead because of health concerns around the virus and travel restrictions currently in place.

The ACB & ECB were joined by representatives of the ICC In a meeting held behind closed doors Friday evening to perform a risk assessment in order to determine whether or not the remainder of the series should go ahead amid virus concerns and It was agreed that given the fact that England was unable to catch a ball let alone anything, the risk of anyone getting sick was extremely low. Cricket fans were ecstatic upon hearing the news and taking to social media to share their excitement. many directed their comments to Joe Denly as they recalled his ‘sitter’ of a catch that he dropped from Kane Williamson during the test against New Zealand last summer.
