Local Surfer makes first-ever 100% eco-friendly surfboard made from sustainable materials
Finally, after years of being some of the biggest hypocrites on the planet, surfers can finally say they are all about saving the planet after the launch of a surfboard made from sustainable and renewable materials. Surfers around the world have been some of the most vocal when it comes to banning fossil fuels despite the materials used to make a surfboard are some of the most hazardous to the planet. No longer will board riders need to stick their fingers in their ears and cover their eyes when protesting drilling for fossil fuels while they use products from fossil fuels.
previously surfers have had to actively pretend that once they discard a snapped surfboard it goes to the big wave in the sky and not ending up in a landfill where it would take the rest of existence to break down while poisoning the ground and waterways. While there are some ‘eco’ boards on the market already, they are far from sustainable and the shaper of the new ‘Jesus’ model surfboard, says it looks like the surfer is actually walking on water. The boards are said to be very difficult to see and are constructed from sustainable materials such as imagination and hope leaving many claiming it is hard to believe that the board actually exists.
